Selling books through MyBookOrders.com instead of through Amazon.com and other retailers will earn you at least 50% more money on each sale.
Personally handling your own book fulfillment involves mundane and time-consuming tasks that you may wish to delegate to an outside service. Some of the day-to-day selling duties include receiving stock copies of your book, processing customers’ orders, shipping books out to customers, and maintaining a customer service arena for any questions that may arise. These tasks can be daunting when combined with an author´s additional daily obligations, so let us manage your order fulfillment!
For authors who want to sell their books online but refuse to be mired down in the inanities of the fulfilling book orders, we offer our services. Our fees are minimal – $1.50 per book, which means that, for just a small service fee, you can be assured that your online orders are being taken care of. This handling fee covers the costs involved in packaging, addressing, and shipping out orders every day.
Cost: $1.50 per book plus postage (postage is paid by the customer). After the first year in the program, there is a renewal fee, which includes the warehousing/storage of up to 500 books of one title, for one full year. Monies paid cover inventory management, storage, account management, sales reporting, and maintaining your custom account (where you can log in and access your order history, customer information, and more). MCP will pay the monthly warehousing fee for the first year.
In order to properly handle fulfillment of your book orders, we built a unique, custom back-end administrative system to manage your customers´ orders and shipping/tracking of orders.
Cost: $699
What you get:
- Custom designed back-end administrative console so you can log in and check your sales, inventory, and more.
- Monthly reports showing you sales, costs, and profits.
- Books shipped to your customers within 24-36 hours (Monday through Friday).
- Emails to your customers providing order confirmation, tracking information, and a link to log in and check the status of their orders.
